Moses Siregar III
“Moses is a fine writer and is deserving of success, and I think that it will follow … maybe his project will turn him into the next Amanda Hocking. Personally, I really enjoyed Moses’s work.”
–David Farland, NYT Bestselling Author of The Runelords
It all started with one very special cartoon series. My first “spiritual” experience came through watching the 85-episode-long Robotech saga at the age of 10. I honestly decided then that I wanted to give back some day and try to inspire others just as that incredible series did for me (at that time, my goal was to create an epic cartoon series). After high school, I spent 16 years searching for the meaning of life, decided it was simple enough, and returned to my first goal in life: Dreaming up epic stories and being an epic goofball. After spending many years writing non-fiction (including a stint as an editor at a local magazine), I’m now preparing to unleash my debut fantasy novel on the willing. It’s titled, THE BLACK GOD’S WAR, and it’s a bit of an homage to Homer; if I’ve done my job, then it’s an epic story that’s also a page-turner. I blog about the writing life, and I look forward to watching Robotech DVDs with my four-year-old son Athens some day soon.
My interviews are on the interviews page.
I’m also one of the co-hosts at Adventures in Sci-Fi Publishing, and a guest blogger at Grasping For The Wind.
See the Book link above for the first chapter of my novel.

“Moses is not only a very knowledgable writer, and generous with what he knows, he’s also more willing to learn from others than almost anyone else I know.”
–Derek Prior, Homunculus Editing Services (my main editor and also a great writer)
And here’s a video of me and my 3-year-old son, in which he thinks he hears the smell of poo-poo, then suggests it’s hiding:
